Your guide will pick you up directly from your hotel in Bayahibe, Dominicus, La Romana, Juan Dolio or Boca Chica with a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle.

During the drive, your guide will already begin sharing fascinating stories about the Dominican Republic, Hispaniola Island and Santo Domingo’s rich past.

💧 Visit of “Los 3 Ojos”

Your first stop at the entrance of the capital will be the famous “Los 3 Ojos” National Park, an impressive open-air cave system with crystal-clear freshwater lagoons naturally formed over centuries.

🏛️ Iconic monuments of the capital

You will then discover several emblematic monuments including the famous Faro a Colón and the Presidential Palace, with photo stops during the tour.

🌍 Visit of the Colonial Zone

The excursion continues in the famous Colonial Zone, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will notably visit the Cathedral of Santa María la Menor, considered the first cathedral built on the American continent.

🍽️ Typical Dominican lunch

Lunch will be served in a small local restaurant located in the Colonial Zone, giving you the opportunity to discover simple, authentic and traditional Dominican cuisine.

🏰 National Pantheon & free time

In the afternoon, you will discover the National Pantheon as well as the charming streets of the old town. You will also enjoy some free time to stroll around or buy souvenirs.

1. Why is this excursion not available from Punta Cana?
The round-trip transportation from Punta Cana would simply be too long and exhausting for a single day. We prefer to remain transparent and guarantee a better overall experience.

Yes. This excursion is accompanied by an English-speaking guide passionate about Dominican history and culture.

3. How many people will there be?
The group is voluntarily limited to approximately 10 people maximum in order to preserve a friendly and human-sized atmosphere.

4. Is this excursion physically demanding?
There are several walking visits in the Colonial Zone. Comfortable walking shoes are therefore highly recommended.

5. Is lunch included?
Yes, a typical Dominican lunch is included during the day.
