THE ITINERARY:

All participants will gather at the Bayahibe port, the starting point of the excursion, to board a magnificent sail catamaran suitable for the whole family. The catamaran will set sail around 9:00, sailing gently on the Caribbean Sea towards the island of Saona.

You will make a first stop at the Catuano piers, partially destroyed by Hurricane George in 1998. Since then, flora and fauna have slowly reclaimed the area, and today, this site is an ideal place for snorkeling (fins-mask-snorkel). We will make a stop there, of course, so you can appreciate the colors and richness of this unusual site.

Then, we will head to the beautiful beach of Saona, where you can enjoy a paradise beach and turquoise waters, worthy of a postcard.

You will arrive at the island before other groups, allowing you to enjoy the beauty of the pristine beach. Why not take a moment to relax or take a walk along the beautiful beaches of Saona, or even enjoy a pleasant swim in the crystal-clear waters?

After enjoying these magical moments on the beach, you will board again, heading to the famous Natural Pool. Lunch will be served on board while sailing, exploring another idyllic location.

We will take advantage of the stop at the Natural Pool for a swim in the clear and shallow waters. There, you will have the privilege of having a drink while swimming and admiring the magnificent giant starfish.

PICKUP:

Departure from your hotel whether you are in Bayahibe/Dominicus, Punta Cana/Bavaro or at the hotel Bahia Principe Grand La Romana. At the time of booking, we will send you a confirmation with the meeting time and location.

IMPORTANT:

The excursion is scheduled to depart around 9:00 am and return by approximately 5:00 pm. Small group experience with a maximum of 30 people on board.

• When to book? We are a small agency that organizes excursions in small groups. To accommodate your request, it is best to book as early as possible.
  However, if there are still spots available, we can also accept last-minute bookings.
• Voucher: Electronic. Presenting it on your phone will be enough.
• Free cancellation: For this excursion, we require a deposit of $30 USD per adult and $10 USD per child. For any cancellation more than 72 hours in advance, the deposit will be fully refunded to you.

Yes, this excursion is done by sailboat catamaran back and forth for a smooth round trip ride.

How long does the boat last to reach the Island?

It takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to 1 hour and 45 minutes of boat to arrive at Saona Island, depending on the wind.

Is lobster included?

No, the lobster is not included. If you wish to add the lobster, please ask us to check availability and price. During the breeding season (from March 1st to June 30th of each year), fishing, selling, and consuming lobster are prohibited.

Does the guide speak English?
