Are you ready for a different excursion to Saona Island? Welcome to us, away from the crowd, discovering the underwater world of Catuano's seabed, the white sandy beach of Playa Dichosa, as well as the magnificent natural pool and its giant starfish.

THE ITINERARY:

We will be waiting for you in Bayahibe, the starting point of the excursion, to board our speed boat.

Let's go to the Cotubanama National Park! A short break in front of the Penon where our English-speaking guide will provide explanations about this cliff and the Taino natives, the island's first inhabitants. We will then explore the mangroves, a forest of mangrove trees growing directly in the seawater.

Our first stop is the island of Saona, at Catuano Beach. We will spend 45 minutes at this beautiful snorkeling spot. Non-snorkelers can take advantage of the stopover for a swim or a drink on board the boat.

After these wonderful moments, we'll board the boat again to reach Dichosa Beach, where a Dominican lunch awaits us. After the meal, grab a hat and sunscreen for a swim in the turquoise waters of Saona Island.

You will have about 3 hours to enjoy the beach, take beautiful pictures, and even take a nap by the water.

To end on a high note, we will visit the famous natural pool where we can see huge starfish (please note that we cannot touch them), have a drink in the turquoise waters of the Caribbean, and enjoy a magical and unforgettable moment.

Return to the port of Bayahibe with beautiful memories, where your transportation will be waiting to take you back to your hotel.

Departure from your hotel whether you are in Bayahibe/Dominicus, Punta Cana/Bavaro or Juan Dolio/Boca Chica. At the time of booking, we will send you a confirmation with the meeting time and location.

FAQ:

What is the difference with the Saona Attitude?

Saona Attitude is organized on a very comfortable three-hull boat, while Saona Hola is done on a speedboat (not suitable for pregnant women or people with back issues).

The Saona Attitude goes to the far south of Saona Island to visit the wild beaches, while Saona Hola visits a developed beach.
Saona Hola does not go to the fishermen's village of Mano Juan but stops for snorkeling at the Catuano dock.

On the comfortable boat (Saona Attitude), you are not required to wear life jackets and you can move around. There is a large roof to protect you from the sun, a front beach area for sunbathing, and toilets. It takes a bit longer to reach the island, but the excursion also lasts longer, so you won’t miss anything.
