Do I need certification to dive in Bayahibe?
No, it’s not mandatory. The center offers intro dives specifically designed for beginners with no prior experience or certification. You’ll always be accompanied by a PADI instructor.
Which program should I choose if I want to get certified?
The PADI Open Water Diver course is ideal. It includes 4 dives over 2 to 3 half-days and a theory session. Upon completion, you’ll receive a globally recognized certification.

How deep can I dive based on my level?
Yes, children aged 10 and up can participate in an intro dive or the Junior Open Water certification, always under the supervision of a qualified instructor and in safe conditions.
