Introduction to the “Swim with Dolphins” activity

This experience was designed to turn a dream into reality: seeing a dolphin up close, touching it, kissing it and swimming alongside it. The marine park, located oceanfront in Punta Cana, offers respectful interactions with these fascinating mammals in a safe and supervised environment.

Organization & access from Punta Cana

Transfers from Punta Cana, Bávaro and Uvero Alto are included. After booking, you receive a confirmation with your pick-up time. Since the park is located directly in the Punta Cana area, the overall organization is shorter and easier compared to departures from Bayahibe.

We usually request the earliest available time slot in order to plan a return around 1:30 PM. However, final schedules always depend on the internal organization of the partner marine park.

“Funtastic” Program — approximately 30 minutes

The Funtastic program is perfect for a first dolphin experience. You remain in an area where the water is approximately waist deep. The dolphin approaches you, lets you touch and kiss it, and interacts playfully throughout the session in a gentle and emotional atmosphere.

This program is especially suitable for families, children and guests who cannot swim.

“Explorer” Program — approximately 45 minutes

The Explorer program includes all the interactions from the Funtastic experience and adds more dynamic aquatic interactions. You may hold the dolphin by its fins while it gently guides you through the water.

It is an excellent balance between discovery and thrilling interaction.

“Excellence” Program — approximately 60 minutes with 2 dolphins

The Excellence program is the most spectacular option available at the park. You enjoy a longer session with two dolphins, including impressive interactions such as the famous double foot-push, where the dolphins propel you out of the water.

This option is recommended for travelers looking for the most immersive and complete dolphin experience possible.

Supervision, safety & photos

All interactions are supervised by the professional marine park team. Every participant wears a life jacket, and safety instructions are explained before entering the water.

Groups are limited depending on the selected program: 20 participants for Funtastic, 12 participants for Explorer, 10 participants for Excellence.

For safety and organizational reasons, personal photos are not allowed during the session. An official photographer offers paid photo packages directly on site.

Lunch & free time

Lunch is not included in this activity. Snacks, sandwiches, hot dogs and drinks are available for purchase inside the park.

Depending on the assigned schedule, you may also enjoy some free time before or after your dolphin interaction.
