If you love horses, nature, and swimming, then this excursion is perfect for you. Whether it's a romantic outing, a family adventure, or a fun trip with friends – it's all possible!
The ranch we collaborate with provides gentle horses that allow even those who are not accustomed to riding to enjoy the experience.
First, you will pass by the ranch located not far from the village of Bayahibe. There, you will meet your horse, receive some information and instructions, and hop on!
The horses are gentle, so even if you're not very comfortable at first, you'll relax after a few minutes. You will first pass through the village of Bayahibe where you'll catch sight of charming typical houses.
Next, you will head towards the tourist village of Dominicus along a trail that runs alongside the sea. The first stop will be at a beach right next to Hotel Canoa where you can take a refreshing swim with the horses if desired.
Then, continue your journey to reach the border of Cotubanama National Park where you'll make a second stop at another beautiful beach.
After this lovely ride, it's time to return to the ranch and then back to your hotel.
The departure will be from your hotel, whether you are in Bayahibe or Dominicus. Your guide will pick you up at the time we will indicate to you as soon as you have made a reservation.

Yes, the horses are very gentle. It is not necessary to be an experienced rider to go on the ride.
How many people are we for the ride?
You are often alone. There may be another family on that day, but it is usually very small groups.
Will we be able to gallop on the beach?
No, it is not allowed to ride horses on the beach on this side of the island. You will go to the beach with the horses for a swim, but they will not walk in the sand. The trail that the horses take runs alongside the beach, so you will see the Caribbean coast multiple times along the route.
